چکیده

Problem statement: Numerous fitness tests are usually administered to determine either muscular strength or cardiovascular endurance. Even though an ample number of exist measure upper body endurance and lower maximal strength, a single test that assesses both could be beneficial in some circumstances. Purpose: The purpose this study was if hand-grip dynamometer is valid predictor explosive strength. Methods: Participants included 164 college students including genders boys = 83, (age 20.72±2.82 yrs., height 170.28±5.48 cm, weight 62.01±9.55 kg) girls 81, 20.64±2.74 yrs, 159.30±5.68 55.71±8.14 kg). Subjects performed the standing broad jump (SBJ) for 3 trials dominant hand grip (dHGS) test, after which maximum value recorded. Pearson bivariate correlation analyses were used relationships between measures. Simple linear regression with enter method predict variation through test. Results: Significant correlations found dHGS SBJ (r .802, p

Development of an integrated digital hand grip dynamometer and norm of hand grip strength.

This study designs and fabricates a novel integrated digital hand grip dynamometer and analyzes collected grip strength data. The dynamometer directly stores collected data in a computer, unlike those on the market that cannot directly store information. A strain gauge load cell is used as a force sensor. The dynamometer is designed to maximize ergonomics. Excitation voltage of the load cell is...

Norms for hand grip strength.

Norms for hand grip strength of healthy children are presented. Sex and age specific centiles for age 5 to 18 years have been determined using a portable strain gauge dynamometer with an accuracy of 0.5 N. The test group comprised 1417 healthy, urban school children from a middle class suburb of Brisbane. Mean maximum grip strength (of four tests, two with each hand) and mean peak grip strength...

Pain free grip strength test.

Description The pain-free grip (PFG) test is used to measure the amount of force that the patient generates to the onset of pain; when there is no pain the test result could be regarded as maximum grip strength. It is commonly performed in patients with lateral epicondylalgia (LE). LE is characterised by the presence of pain over the lateral humeral epicondyle which is provoked by at least two ...
